(This was written shortly after the storm hit in 2018. I am going back through my journals and compiling all of the dreams and signs the Lord has been showing me, going back to the beginning in the late nineties. I will be posting the most significant signs, dreams and words from the Lord.)
It seems as if so many signs are coming to pass, and the earth is shaking, just as the word says that it would. I am operating under the idea that God is a communicator, and He speaks through many different signs, circumstances, and methods, and that He wants us to pay attention and listen. Names are significant because they often point to what God has done, will do, or is doing in the present moment. I am also of the mind that He is bringing judgment as spoken of in the Bible, and that He does so in compassion and mercy. “Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word.”
With that said, this is what I get from studying Hurricane Michael.
1. Michael
means “God-like, or Who is like God.”
Meaning of Tyndall: (Landfall on Tyndall AFB)
Tyndall Effect. I saw a radar picture of Michael coming onto land directly over Tyndall Airforce Base on the Peninsula. I could look down and see Tyndall Air Force base looking like a tiny iris in the eye of the storm. Apparently the eye went over it and totally destroyed the base although I am not sure about all of the details. Regardless, when I googled Tyndall, the Tyndall effect came up.
The Tyndall Effect Definition: The phenomenon in which light is scattered by particles of matter in its path. It enables a beam of light to become visible by illuminating dust particles, etc
I watched a video demonstrating it. When a light beam shines into a
beaker of water, the beam is invisible. You cannot see the light. Once
certain particles are introduced into the water, the beam can be seen as a
bright light. The Tyndall effect is the scientific phenomenon that causes a
lighthouse beam to shine through the fog, and rays of sunshine to shine down
out of the clouds in a glorious way (I love that!)
Most significant to me is
that a substance is introduced into another substance to illuminate the light,
whereas when absent, the light cannot be seen even though it is there. It is a
physical law that makes light visible in certain substances. I’ll explain why I
think that’s significant later if it’s not already quite obvious.
3. Meaning
of Panama: Some of the worst damage is said to be in Panama City Beach which
was basically decimated by this storm.
Panama means straw hat.
This made me think of what is covering the head. A straw hat affords very little protection (one would never want to be in a construction zone with a straw hat.) Straw is easy to shred just like this storm shredded the coast. A hat covers our minds, affections, focus, mindset, thoughts etc.
The first part of our spiritual armor is the helmet of salvation covering our minds. I see this as being the transformation of the mind to retain the knowledge of God, to honor God as God, and to know Christ as Lord in the widest application.
Are we wearing straw hats or arrayed in the strong helmet of salvation? What does a hat cover? Your head. What is in your head? Your thoughts. I heard the Lord say that in the coming storms, you will have to have EVERY THOUGHT covered in the truth of His salvation!
The craziest part is that The news is featuring one lone home right on Mexico City beach that is standing amidst the rubble. The builders, two doctors, Dr. King, and Dr. Lackey, built it above code to survive the “big one”. I thought it would be fun to look into the meaning of their names.
Among the Ruins of Mexico Beach Stands One House, Built ‘for the Big One’ - The New York Times (nytimes.com)
Dr.
King: King is obvious.
Dr. Lackey: A lackey or lacquey,
in its original definition (attested 1529, according to the Oxford English
Dictionary), is a uniformed manservant. The
modern connotation of "servile follower" appeared later, in 1588 (OED).[1]
Here are
several theories about the origins of the word: By one theory, it is derived
from Medieval French laquais,
"foot soldier, footman,
servant", ultimately from Turkish ulak, literally
"a messenger".[1] The word also exists in German, where Lakai
denotes a liveried manservant in the services of
a monarch or prince.
Taken together, the one house standing on the beach was built by two physicians whose names could mean, "bondservant (of) the King." Isn't there a verse about building your house on the rock so when the wind and rains come you won't fall down?
For me, I
am putting all of this together and hearing another alarm sounding. I hear an
unmistakable clarion call to be ready! It is time to take up the little foxes.
It is time to seek God with all of our hearts! If we are distracted we are
wearing straw hats. If we are halfhearted and compromising we are not wearing
the helmet of salvation. The darkness is getting darker, and only those who are
abiding in the secret place will stand, just as the house stood on Mexico Beach.
Those who are serving the Lord, and nothing else, will be able to withstand the
winds. I think the winds are not only disasters but just general darkness,
hatred, strife, temptation, pressure and anything the enemy wants to throw at
us-because his time IS short.
I think God could be speaking through all of this that the light of the gospel will shine brighter as we face more storms, more disaster, and harder times. People are going to wake up and they will be looking for physical and spiritual help, and the light of God will be seen, just like the Tyndall effect. It’s interesting that it is what makes the light of a lighthouse shine into the night. We are that lighthouse, and our light, which perhaps has not been seen in America, is going to be seen as never before. I think the “substance” introduced into our world is trouble, but that same trouble will illuminate the light.
