The Angel said, "Write!"

That mighty angel said, "WRITE!" Oh, can you feel the power and glory and divinity in those words? Can you sense the heart of God to prepare His people, and show forth His great glory? Fear God, and worship Him! Will we pause to read what he commanded John to write? It may be silly and insignificant to us, but I believe that it is not insignificant to the One who inspired these prophesies, the One in whose heart the story bursts forth onto the pages of the Bible, waiting to be known and understood.

Whenever the Lord is unfolding a truth to His people, a lie springs up to keep us from the truth. We all have witnessed end time cults and "nut jobs" spouting scriptures from Revelation, and no one wants to be "that person", so we just want to "know Jesus" or claim to be too reasonable for such nonsense.  I get it, and I've been there, so I am not throwing stones, but it's time to move on to cherish these holy words. What God-breathed scripture should be diminished?

Particularly over the last few years, I have felt led away from all that is happening on the earth-all of the darkness, deception, lies, chaos, and general insanity and to understand what He has said is happening and will happen. I felt the Lord say that listening to the conspiracies is just Satan prophesying, and if you listen to his threats long enough, you will believe them. Faith grows by hearing His words, and wanes when we focus on the enemy. In Revelation, the mighty angel says to John, "Write!" and it says, "The Spirit says...." yet we yawn and turn away, or say it's confusing or divisive and go our way and miss the blessing that is pronounced on those who read the prophesy.

All of the last days prophesies are exceedingly glorious. These are words from God's holy prophets. Regarding the book of Revelation, it is the only full book that came from the risen Christ Himself to his church. He was proclaiming His story. He was telling His people, not the world, what was soon to come to the earth. It's so big that words escape me here! It's the end from the beginning. It's His triumph over the fall. It's the real news. It's the truth in a world of lies. It's the light in a world covered in gross darkness. It is the word of God and the consummation of all things. Who works on a building or home without any idea what it will look like when it's done? When John fell to worship the angel giving the message, the angel said don't do it, all of these prophesies are concerning Jesus Christ, so worship Him alone. The second advent and last days prophesies are about His glory, and our hope of salvation.

Everyone, or at the least wise people, always run to the hero of the story-the one who wins. We want to be on the winner's side, and the prophesies tell us who wins as well as what happens to the losers. They also tell us that it will appear that the wicked will win for a brief time-and all will be dark.  This matters enough that our precious Lord, through the Holy Spirit, took the time to whisper into the ears of his prophets.

But there is a wide empty space, a vacuum in the church, and Satan is pouring his narrative into it.

Allow the honey of these words to fill your spiritual belly. Consider how we would view current events if we had a revelation of this revelation! They are words of warning, admonishment, and promise. While untold thousands of believers are listening to words of portals swirling over various states, we could be hearing about the deception that is coming. Many people of the world will worship the beast and take his mark because they will believe this one thing, that he is doing wonderful, amazing things. They will say, "Who is like unto the beast?" Those are words of worship. Who can make war with him? There is no one like this man.

"And they worshipped the beast saying, " Who is like unto the beast? Who can make war with him?" Rev 13:4

Should we know these things are soon to come, and what will be their portion, and how it will end for those who refuse to go along with the program that looks so wonderful? Those who refuse to be seduced by him, the antichrist, will have eternal rest from their labors, and "their works will follow them" but those who follow along will be tormented forever. This is important stuff!

But in that admiration, as he makes his millions and honors his god with gold and silver, and makes many very rich ( yes, all of this has been prophesied for our understanding), and divides the land of Israel for money, and grows rich off of the wealth of other nations and eventually turns on Israel and musters the nations of the world against Israel....they absolutely will accept his mark on their forehead or hand, because he is bringing peace and security to the world. He is keeping peace on the earth, or at least making everyone believe it (he is a liar after all.) If you want references for all of this, I have them all for your study. Again, get a Dake Study Bible, you will be glad you did.

But back to those words:

"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of the waters." Revelation 14:6

These words fill me with God's glory! Fear God and give glory to Him. WOAH. These events are soon to unfold! Yes, look around. Discern the hour and do not doubt. Jesus warned us that "men" will deceive you, so we cannot turn to any man to tell us, we must turn to the Lord for our answers. The church, by and large, will fall away, Jesus and Paul said.  The Lord had to rebuke me last year because I was doubting everything that he was teaching me, but he said this: "In a war, you need soldiers who know the enemy, and know their assignment. Stop doubting!" I did, and things have become crystal clear now that I am no longer double minded. We can trust Him and stop assessing, considering, and going back and forth in our human reasoning. That's exactly what the Pharisees did, and Jesus would say, "Why are you reasoning in your minds?"

In times of trouble , we must have answers, and we must have solutions. In this crucial hour, the answers and solutions are in His word. Apart from this, we turn to binging on Netflix or any number of distractions that effectively insert the fingers into the proverbial ears and say, "lalalalala I am not listening." Or it may be to run to professed prophets, or to political pundits and representatives who claim some kind of divine answer coming from the heavens through the Republican party, or Qanon conspiracies with their false messiah, DJT who will "take down the deep state", but who will run to the Lord and His word to understand?

"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation: and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascended up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosover receiveth the mark of his name."

These words, given to John, were followed by these powerful words:

"Here is the patience of the saints; here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Rev 14:12

"And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth; Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." Rev 14:13

Those who are seduced by the antichrists promises of peace and security and promises of wealth will never rest! Those who say, who is like him? No one can beat him! will never, ever rest, but those who trusted in God are found holy and blameless, and they will stand before the Lamb, and reign with him forever.  People will be (and are) desperate for solutions. The prophesies of Zechariah, Isaiah, Daniel, Psalms, Revelation and so many more are for us right now. The Lord is waiting to unveil them to encourage, strengthen, and ignite his people to do great exploits-and "endure until the end" holding fast to the faith of Jesus that will be under attack from every angle.

This week, I believe that he took me to Zechariah 10 where it says to ask the Lord for rain in the season of rain instead of turning to idols. There absolutely is a latter rain, the latter harvest rains will be poured out that will cause us to mount up on wings as eagles. The wicked will grow weak and weary, but the righteous who wait on God's promises will run with a divine strength and show forth His love, glory, power, and light. As he did for Mary, if we will believe his promises in Christ, he will bring that which is UTTERLY DIVINE from our spiritual wombs, something untouched by man (Luke 1). Salvation and help will be found nowhere else in this last day harvesting of the earth. This is our peace, hope, and victory, the Holy Spirit sheltering His people. Covering His beloved as per Isaiah 4. This is the tabernacle of His Spirit in and over His people and it is the ONLY SAFE place in this hour!

These are crucial truths to know in this hour! I won't apologize for preaching it is worthy of proclaiming from the house tops! Wake up church! Wake up! Come away from all of the deep state stories, the political hopes and aspiration of MAGA, and the constant distractions that dull the senses to the lateness of this hour and hear what the Spirit is saying to the church. I am not afraid to say this, the Lord is NOT saying to the church, "Make America Great Again." He is saying, "Look up, your redemption draws nigh." Hope in Me. Wait on Me.

The day of the vengeance of the Lord is fast approaching, and he wants us to stand holy and blameless before the Lamb at His appearing, when we will see God Himself take care of the wicked. His victory over them will be with the sword of His mouth. I am telling you, no conspiracy theory of political plan even comes close to the glory that is coming from the Lord. His story is the best story, the only story worth hearing right now. The wicked will be destroyed by the brightness of His appearing. In Matt 24, Jesus said that His coming will be unmistakable because the greatness of His glory, and the absolute destruction of the wicked who will be fed to the birds of prey. He said that he was warning us of a great deception coming, and not to be fooled by it.

People will spend a great deal of time listening to prophetic words, but shouldn't the word of the Lord, spoken by the mouths of His holy prophets be given the same time of study and contemplation? Jesus studied and spoke of these prophetic scriptures. Paul did too. In fact, I think all of the writers studied and taught from these scriptures and prophesies. Will we too, or are we to modern and sophisticated for all of that "weird" stuff?

That's what's on my heart right now. What do you think?

Grace and peace to you all!

Those Who Are With Us Are More Than Those Who Are With Them

In 2 Kings 5:21, the King of Aram sends his army to surround the Israelites who were camped in the town of Dortham. Elisha the prophet was also there with his servant who awoke to discover that they were surrounded by a mighty army of horses and chariots intent on capturing them. “Oh my lord, what shall we do?” he said to Elisha. “Don’t be afraid.” The prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them” And Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes so he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. Oh, we need the vision that Elisha had! Paul prays   that the eyes of our hearts would be open to see the things that God has for us in Christ.   In every trial, temptation, and tribulation facing us, we can say with Elisha, “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” This is true for every child of God, in all circumstances.    Howev...

Growing in Revelation

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26 It is so important that we approach scripture as children, expecting the Holy Spirit to open our minds to Truth. As “churched” believers, (I so dislike that term, it sounds like something that is pickled), we are in danger of approaching the word as if we fully understand it. This attitude shuts off revelation, dulling our spiritual vision and curbing our knowledge of God. We are called to be spiritually quickened, not to pickle in the stagnant pools of familiar church doctrine. This is not to say that church doctrine is a not good and helpful. No, the problem comes when doctrine becomes a wall that shuts us out from Spirit led revelation. But when viewed as a door, doctrine can serve as an invitation, beckoning the hungry heart to come in and explore. It is interesting to note...

Searching for Simeons; be still and know

Be Still, and Know.  This word came to me after I quieted my heart this morning and felt that it was the Lord speaking a word of caution and encouragement.  "Practice solitude often. Solitude increases your spiritual perception. The spirit knows and perceives while the natural mind ponders, divides, considers, reasons. Guard your mind from distraction. Knowing in the realm of the spirit is much like a man who looks into a calm pond and sees his reflection in the stillness of the water. He can see his image until a pebble is cast into the water and he loses the image just as it is taking shape. In the same way, silence is the calm water that allows you to hear my voice, for I speak to you in the silence. Emails, T.V., talk shows, intrusive cell phones are the little pebbles that disturb the water just as knowledge is forming in the depths of the spirit man. You may guard yourself against the "giants in the land" but miss me in the distractions of life. It is death by 1,00...

How Faith Grows: Labor to Rest (and Tear Down Those Beliefs that Steal the Word!)

Your word is my shield and buckler. No matter what enemy David was facing, he consistently fled into the refuge of God's word. He meditated on it day and night until He saw God move.    “As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father; so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.” (John 6:57) How do we eat Jesus? “Hearken diligently unto Me, and eat that which is good , and let your soul delight itself in fatness.” Isaiah 55:2 We hear him, and we keep hearing him until faith is born. When faith is born, we enter into the substance of the unseen. When faith has been born, some work or experience will follow. Until then, it is dead. Like a tiny seed, the promise yields its peaceable fruit in due season; new fruit of the Spirit, or freedom from some opression. But first, we have to chew, and chew, and chew. This is actually the biblical metaphor for how we are to labor to enter into the rest of God. “Let us therefore fear, lest, a PROMISE being left us ...

The Crowned Virus

The entire globe is held in the iron-clad grip of a global pandemic. This life altering virus has brought the world to a screeching halt as the earth reels under its cold, dark shadow. Recently, I began to really wonder about the name, Coronavirus. Where did it originate? Who named it? What I found was interesting. There may be more to the name of this virus than first meets the eye. Just like everything else about 2020 and beyond, one must look beneath the surface to understand. The word corona is of Latin origin meaning “crown.”   It was coined by a Spanish astronomer, Jose Joaguin de Ferrer y Cafranga   (1763-1818) who journeyed to New York to observe a total solar eclipse in 1806.   Due to its crown-like appearance, Jose named the spikes of light appearing around the eclipsed sun, “corona.”  The first coronavirus was identified and named in 1968 by a team of 8 researchers at the Common Cold Clinic in Wiltshire, England.  The researchers named the ...

All That Matters

I saw it with perfect clarity right after Steve died suddenly in a car accident, the very week that we were setting our wedding date. While I was tossing around wedding ideas with my sister on the phone one clear, fall morning, unbeknownst to me, Steve had already died in a wreck. In a few hours I would get the call. But through the violent tears of grief for the greatest love I have ever known, God kindly gave me a glimpse of eternity. I could see, not with my natural eyes, but with those unseen eyes of the heart. Those eyes are the only eyes that really matter.   Satan opened the eyes of Adam and Eve to his selfish version of reality, his narrative.   This is the dark sight that Jesus came to strike with blindness so that we can see the light of truth. He said he came to give sight to the blind, and to blind those who see. For a brief time after Steve's death, it was as if a veil was lifted and I could peer into eternity itself. Everything becam...

Seeing God

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness does not overcome it.” In his book, Prayer, Richard Foster points out that God waits and longs to be loved. He goes on to make the bold claim that God is more tender hearted than anyone, though we do not often see him this way. And yet, how could he be less tender than the most tender human heart? Foster emphasizes how easily moved is this Tender-Hearted One, moved by our tears, and moved by our loving gestures towards him, weak as they may be. He surrounds us with tender mercies. Foster’s reflections on the character of God caused me to consider, once again, the consequences of that fateful day in the garden, when we chose to eat from the wrong tree. I am familiar with the idea that our shame and sense of condemnation caused us to hide from God. However, this morning, I saw that there is more involved in the reason why our ancestral parents hid from God, and why we still dive for the nearest thorn bush when have missed the...

How To Enter The Promised Rest

How do we labor to enter His rest?  T he word tells us that the kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. They seize it. Have you ever noticed that the people who received miracles from Jesus were very desperate? They pushed through crowds, threw off their cloaks, risked humiliation, and many cried out above the din of voices literally stopping Jesus in his tracks. Oh, he loves desperate sick folks.  God's love is all-consuming. His love is compared to a mighty rushing river and unquenchable fire. He have given everything for love, and He seeks the same love in return.  Many false teachings are perverting the truth that Jesus has done it all,  (He has) and won it all, (He has) to cause us to sit back in a spiritual stupor while Satan makes off with all of our inheritance. Jesus purchased our rest, but  we must labor to enter into it.  J esus said that we have to eat his body and drink his blood in order to experience eternal li...

Come, Drink of His Grace

We have been issued a divine invitation to partake of heavenly things. In 2 Peter we are told that we have "great and precious promises, by which we become partakers of the divine nature." (KJV). Scripture also speaks of the overflowing riches and overabundant grace in Christ Jesus our Lord. Many accept the truth that our salvation is by faith in Christ Jesus. We ask Jesus into our hearts and believe that we have experienced the fullness of this truth. But nothing could be further from the truth, for we have only just begun to understand what it means to have "this treasure in earthen vessels." What is this treasure? As a young believer I was very much in love with the Lord. I had a deep desire to please Him. Not having an understanding of the nature and power of grace, I struggled within myself to please Him. For a few years my own strength was enough, and my private sense of righteousness went untouched. But in time, I was pulled away from my relation...

Warp and Woof: Becoming New Wineskins

Warp and Woof: The underlying structure or foundation of something, as in "He foresaw great changes in the warp and woof of the nation's economy." This expression, used figuratively since the second half of the 1500s, alludes to the threads that run lengthwise (warp) and crosswise (woof) in a woven fabric. (Wikipedia 8/10/09) The Lord is looking into the warp and woof of our hearts, examining the underlying structure of our lives in order that He may fill us to overflowing with Himself. He is seeking to pour out new wine, but preparation must be made. In response to accusations that Jesus’s disciples were not as pious as John’s disciples, who fasted regularly, Jesus had this to say: "You cannot mend old fabric with a new piece of fabric, nor can you put old wine into new wine skins." It is unwise because the violent fermentation process would burst the old, hard, dry, wineskins, spilling the precious wine and destroying the skins (Dake Study Bible). New wine ...
