(Short summary as this is a little long. I put little headings to jump to that topic. So, I had a few dreams pointing to the Feast of Tabernacles and Psalm 118 that speaks of the coming of the Lord (Feast of Tabernacles) for God is coming to live with and among and in His people on earth. This coincides with a Jewish remnant coming to faith as per Romans 11. This feast is the fullness of our salvation that we are waiting for while we now have the downpayment or the "deposit" of the Spirit-Romans 8, 1 Cor 15, 1 Thes 2,5 etc. Now we live with the curse and have to overcome with these dead bodies, but that will change when our redemption is complete and the curse is about to be removed. He wants us to be as children and to believe on every promise and in so doing, we are feasting on Christ's life and being filled with Him! Feeding on Christ by faith. Salvation is about God feeding His people, so open your mouths. We must stop working on our sabbath rest, Christ Jesus's work. Sit and eat. Be weak so He can be strong, be helpless so He can give you His life every day. Drink. Eat. Abide in Him.
But first we have a false peace that will look glorious. This is a warning and a great invitation!)
Yesterday at church the theme that came forth during worship was feasting at the Lord's table. Yes, I hear Him saying, My people, open your mouths wide for the Feast of Tabernacles, as He said in a dream on the night of January 18 as He expanded on Psalm 118 which was given to me a few weeks prior.
We have a divine invitation to mix the word with faith and enter into the fullness of our salvation in this hour, and we have a very serious warning as well. It is harvest time. The first three feasts of the Lord were about the planting of the branch Christ Jesus into the earth, but these last great feasts are about the full receiving of the Kingdom. First you plant the crops, then you harvest them. Open your mouth wide to receive the harvest, the fullness of God's kingdom! We are in the dawning of the third day, and a pattern is seen all through the word that this is harvest time.
The great copy cat is working hard to present his own version of the truth and as always, it looks good. It sounds good. It makes so much sense because it "seems" to the natural mind to be good. We have been down this road before. But there are those who are not judging with the natural mind, but with the Holy Spirit, and they will wait on the true Feast of Tabernacles, and the true peace that comes down from heaven.
If you are one of those who is hearing the Lord, I urge you to begin speaking what you are hearing. Speak what you hear in the dark, and don't hold back! Jesus declared the truth in the great congregation though it meant his rejection, mocking, scourging, and death. Speak what you hear! And if you are hearing the Lord but feeling confused because you are doubting what you hear, you must stop listening to that serpent's voice of doubt. Recognize how it sounds and reject it immediately and things will get crystal clear. Believe the God will keep you and then trust what He is saying, and what you know, and the speak!
We are being presented with a false peace before the Lord's return. As every false doctrine, it grows up alongside the real thing that the Lord is doing which is why it gains so much traction. We saw this with the word of faith movement; just as the revelation that we live by faith alone in Christ was coming to fullness, the enemy planted a tare in our spiritual ground so instead of fully trusting in God to transform us, by faith, we began claiming bigger incomes! The flesh likes to claim God's promises to fleshly reasoning and desires, what the word calls the wisdom of man.
What does it mean open our mouths wide for the Feast of Tabernacles? I am not totally sure, but I do know that it means we are receiving a kingdom. Salvation is a Feast! We have to be like children. Eat that which is good and be satisfied, which means to believe on His word. The Sabbath Day is a day of rest in God's work. Man cannot divinely transform Himself, only God can do that for those who believe on the promises, by which we become partakers of the divine nature. So open your mouths! Stop working on my Sabbath Day for your work will get you nothing but condemnation, but My Spirit will birth the new nature in you! For by one man's sin, death came to all, but by one man's obedience, we are to rein in life. Only believe the promises of Christ and what He did for us. We are new creatures. The oil is pouring down from heaven into the golden candlesticks. The fires have tried us, and they will continue to try us, and as we believe and cleave to God in Christ, the gold will come forth, and the oil will pour into the candlesticks-but flee the false light. Flee the false heaven on earth that scripture warned us about. First comes 666, then comes 777. (That's the dream he gave me a few years ago and it is supported by the whole of scripture).
The Dream and Psalm 118
I believe that the Lord is saying that He is pouring new wine into new wine skins! He truly saved the best for last just as he said at the wedding of Cana. I had a beautiful dream on January 18 about a woman playing the piano. She looked at me over her shoulder as she played and she said, "The Feast of Tabernacles is coming!" I responded, "I am going to open my mouth wide for the Feast of Tabernacles."
A few weeks before this dream, I had dreamt of Psalm 118 but didn't think much about it. When I shared the Tabernacles dream with a friend, she pointed out the date of the dream which was 1/18 and she said, "Psalm 118!" I went back and reread it and saw that it is one of the most important Psalms regarding the Feast of Tabernacles and it is quoted in every single gospel.
All of the Feasts are simply God's calendar system. Yes, He is a planner. Who knew? He tells the end from the beginning. Here is a short explanation for those who may not know about the feasts:
Brief Primer on the Feasts:
Most know by this point that God has fulfilled the first three Spring feasts:
1. Feast of Passover (when the Passover Lamb was sacrificed for our sins)
2. Feast of First Fruits (when Jesus rose from the dead on the 3rd day).
3. Feast of Pentecost (when the Holy Spirit was poured out).
Jesus fulfilled each feast right on schedule, and now we have the remaining three feasts that have yet to be fulfilled, although I suspect we may be in the Feast of Trumpets? (God is trumpeting that He is coming in this season.) However, what is clear is that God will fulfill all three feasts right on time. The remaining Feasts after Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) are Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and Tabernacles, when God comes back to tabernacle among His people. Some feasts look both backwards and forwards as the feasts are also types and shadows pointing forward, but we will leave it at that for now. If I am mistaken, please let me know.
All of that to say that the Feast of Tabernacles is coming! Quickly. We know that before the Lord's return, Isael will almost be destroyed by the antichrist and his armies. Israel will be surrounded by her enemies, like bees and thorns (Ps 118), and when it looks like all is lost, God will pour out upon them a spirit of grace and supplication, and they will cry out to their Messiah for the first time! It's truly heart rending, for Jesus stood overlooking the city and wept over their rejection of Him saying,
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brook under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate; and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord." Luke 13:34-35
"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord" is a direct quote from Psalm 118 where it first appears. When Jesus came to his people, they cried these very words as he rode into the city sitting on a donkey, but they did not receive him in the end, for five days later they cried, "Crucify Him!" But this verse, along with "Hosanna in the highest" were sung every day of the Feast of Tabernacles when Israel celebrated it each year. It's like God wanted them to recite and anticipate this day, so they rehearsed it every year, every single day of the Feast, anticipating God's return to tabernacle and live among His precious people: that day when they will call him Lord, and He will call them His people. Truly, pass the hankie. Selah.
"Hosanna" effectively means to "save now."
In addition to when Jesus rode into the city on the donkey, Jesus and his disciples sang Psalm 118 the night of Passover. This means that as he was preparing to be rejected and crucified, he was looking towards that day, thousands of years in the future, when his people would say, "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord," but this time, they would mean it.
God in Christ will not be rejected on that day, but He will be received with open arms, for God has opened their eyes to know Him!
It is a heart wrenching account of God's compassionate mercies being summarily rejected by His very own chosen ones! I often think about the gut-wrenching sorrow that I experienced when my sin's collided with God's tender mercies, and I often think that their mourning will be something like that when they look upon him who they pierced. Yes, this godly sorrow is the stuff of divine transformation, and a remnant in Israel will experience it. But first, Isael will trust a man, the "Assyrian" another name for Antichrist, yet in this Psalm it says,
"It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes." v:8-9
"All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them. They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about; but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them." v: 10-11
They will say these words on that glorious day, but first was their rejection, and Christ's prophesy from Psalm 118.
In Matthew's gospel it says, "For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord."
Jesus is speaking of the blinding that comes on the Jewish people until they finally cry out to Him. God is not done with Israel yet, and when the original root comes to faith, it will be like life from the dead! In fact, take it as you will, but we are in the day when Isael's blinders are about to come off.
"For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?" Romans 11:15
"For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in." Romans 11:25
So these things happen together: A Jewish remnant cries out for Jesus, He returns, and the dead are raised (and those who are alive are transformed.) Paul says it will be as life from the dead, and I wonder if Paul could be speaking of the resurrection given that these events coincide.
Daniel speaks of this as well: (At that time speaks of Antichrist's furious attempts to destroy Israel as per Bible commentary of the preceding chapter.)
"And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time; and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (resurrection) And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. But thou Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." Daniel 12:1-4
I know that was long, but I had to quote it at length because it's so stunning. You probably will recognize the language coming from Matthew 24 where Jesus speaks of the abomination that causes desolation kicking off the time of trouble:
"For then (after the abomination) shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved; but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not, For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before."
I believe that the Feast of Tabernacles is the spiritual meaning of the 3rd temple. It isn't a building, although there will be a building just as in Christ's day. He was crucified and eventually the temple was destroyed as well, but the true temple was his body. He spoke of the temple being destroyed, and it was (the building), but he was really speaking of his body. Now, when Christ returns to live in and among His people, there will be another building, but we are His temple, and the Jew and Gentile together will be His dwelling place as He lives with us here on earth in the Millennial Kingdom.
I had my one and only vision of it when I was 14 and it left me speechless with overwhelming joy. He will right every wrong in that great and glorious day, but first we have to reject Satan's counterfeit. It's coming now. Jesus warned us strongly in Matthew 24.
This is the Feast of Tabernacles, and it is coming!
"And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications; and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn." Zehariah 12:10
Ezekiel 4 speaks of a candlestick that is fed from the two heavenly Olive trees.
"Not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord." In the midst of gross darkness (deception) God is raising up a candlestick in this hour, a light shining in the darkness, and we will be ready for Him having been refined, purified, and clothed in white garments to go into the wedding feast.
The church has wandered for two thousand years in the wilderness of a mixture of religion (man's ideas/efforts) and faith, but it is time now. It is time to go into the Promised Land, for God WILL have a people for Himself. God will have a pure and spotless bride.
