The Lord teaches us so beautifully through illustrations, and Paul explained that the things that happened to the Israelites are for an example for us to understand salvation. There are two chasms of waters to cross over in the Kingdom. The first chasm is the Red Sea where God brings us from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light. Three days after crossing the Red Sea, the tree (that Jesus died upon) was cast into the bitter waters of death, a watery grave, and turned the water into the sweet waters of salvation from which they could drink. "My blood is real drink." "Come all who thirst, come and drink!" This is where the Lord God declared, “I am the Lord that healeth thee." The second chasm is the Jordan River, meaning, “to cast down” that takes us into the Promised Land. They were saved into God's kingdom but had to embark on a long journey.
